Plumbing and Piping

Services

  • Steam heating and process piping
  • Compressed air piping and drying

Domestic Water Supply

The purpose with a domestic service water supply system is to provide consumers with enough hot and cold water. In old buildings it is common with gravity storage tanks on the top floor of the building. More commonly used in new systems are pressurized tanks and supply pumps. Quality Air Mechanical is capable of installing, servicing and repairing all internal and external water lines from main line tap through your home and/or building.

Sanitary Drainage Systems

A sanitary drainage system is a system of piping within public or private premises that conveys sewage or other liquid waste to an approved point of disposal. The intent is to design and install sanitary drainage systems that will function reliably, are neither undersized nor oversized, and are constructed from materials, fittings and connections whose quality is regulated by codes and standards. The basics of sanitary drainage systems include, but are not limited to, the following: public and private sewage disposal; selection of materials; installation of the building sewer, including the building drainage system and components; joining methods between drainage piping and fittings; drainage fixture units for sizing the drainage system; and sumps and ejectors. Quality Air Mechanical can install a complete sanitary system from a single-story residence to a multi-story commercial/industrial facility.

Compressed Air Dryers

A compressed air dryer is a machine that sucks in and significantly reduces the moisture content of ambient air. In manufacturing, air dryers serve the vital role of rendering air more sanitary and conducive for workers and products alike. Depending on the moisture levels of a given environment, the use of a compressed air system can make all the difference between whether or not a production is even achievable. Compressed air dryers can be split into the following categories:

  • Refrigerated drying units:
    • Cycling
    • Non-cycling
  • Desiccant drying units:
  • Heatless
  • Heated — internal or external

The main difference between each dryer type is the agent placed inside the machine to dry the incoming air.

Compressed Air Piping Systems

A compressed air system transfers power in the form of air pressure. A device somewhere else in a workshop can use the energy the compressor creates. The component that connects everything together in a compressed air system is the piping.

The piping in your system can make or break the profitability of your enterprise. Lost power through inefficient or faulty piping can wipe out your profit margin and give your competitors an advantage. Pay attention to the layout, installation and maintenance of your compressed air piping system to control costs and keep your business in the black.
